A few days back, I left a review for John, the manager over in Petaluma, since he was really helpful with an electrical issue and a battery concern. The bay alarm panel was plugged in during our chat. After we talked, I realized I wouldn’t be charged for the visit. However, I had received some misleading info from the salesman when I signed up with Bay Alarm, claiming that the unit would be covered by the battery if there was a power outage. We had discussed this during the initial visit because it was crucial for my decision to choose Bay Alarm. When I discovered that the battery only lasts about 3 to 4 hours, I was under the impression that it would support the unit for any outages, which could last anywhere from 24 to 48 hours.

Not great customer support, and the prices are too high.

They messed up the alarm registration, leading to a fine from the City of San Francisco. If you want to avoid paying too much for just okay service, you might want to check out other options.

I'm being billed for a fire alarm monitor that isn't even real. They won't give me my money back, so I had to take it up with my credit card company. It's a huge company, so forget them.

Overall, it was a decent experience. There were a few hiccups that made things a bit annoying, but it was alright in the end. I reckon it could've been smoother if I had met with the salesperson directly to simplify the process. Initially, a third party was involved, and it eventually came down to me, the owner, handling things. It also seemed like some personal stuff on the salesperson's end made it tough to reach him for the final details. However, the financial office in SSF was super helpful and sorted out the whole final payment mess.

The staff here are friendly and really know their stuff. They pay great attention to the little things. The work was done in a professional manner. Nathan really knocked it out of the park and exceeded expectations.

Andrew is amazing!!! He had to handle a really tough tenant, and he displayed total patience and understanding throughout the process. Plus, he took the time to explain everything about the system and what was happening. I’ll definitely be asking for Andrew next time.

It turns out they keep an emergency slot open for situations like mine. I had my system up and running in just four days! I couldn’t be happier with the service and the quality of work. Michael at Bay Alarm really had my back. The whole process was super professional, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. Don’t forget to download the app on your phone (the cleaning crew is always nervous about messing up entry and exit). I can arm the office from anywhere I have cell service... how cool is that? I sleep soundly knowing my office is safe.

I never signed up for anything or bought anything from this company, yet I received an email requesting a review. I reached out through their website to clarify my situation, but they just replied with another email, expressing gratitude for my interest and suggesting I set up a time to discuss my needs. Honestly, I don’t have any needs that need reviewing, except for this company to take a good look at their email spamming methods and take me off their list.

Rick from Bay Alarm was super professional, friendly, and really knew his stuff. We ran into some hiccups with the scheduling part of the system, along with some hardware issues that meant he had to return a few times. He kept at it and came back repeatedly until everything was running smoothly and we were happy. I truly appreciate his determination and consistently upbeat vibe. A switch came loose from my bedroom door just a week after I swapped out the battery, and I reckon that same switch had been glued back on before. Not really sure since I'm currently out of the country. The alarm went off, so I had to bypass that switch. I was planning to upgrade both panels, but after a whole day of effort, only one got upgraded. Seems like there's a wiring issue on my end. I put the old panel back, and it worked just fine. The team was polite and really put in the effort. The camera installation went smoothly, but I'm having a tough time viewing them remotely from where I am.

THIS TECH IS A TOTAL GAME-CHANGER FOR YOUR BUSINESS. HE GAVE A CALL BEFORE HE GOT HERE, ARRIVED RIGHT ON SCHEDULE, FINISHED THE JOB AS DISCUSSED, AND HIS GENERAL MANNER AND APPROACH WERE EXCEPTIONAL.
